I really wanted to capture the movement and intense force of the water splashing against the rocks. I used granulating paints to not only achieve motion in the waves but also to create texture and variation in the wash. This piece is painted on Fabriano Artistico Soft pressed paper, Watercolour and watercolour pencil on paper.
